Fort Worth Stockshow & Rodeo

First some videos...

As my talking increases mom is helping me with certain words and we are also working on some sign language... mom has been doing "more", "eat", "water", "change", "please" and a few others for a few weeks and the first one I've really picked up is "more"... check me out!

Sorry there are two videos, mom just couldn't decide...

We are also working on my animal sounds... I seem to like to make the animal sounds more than say their names... I quack, meow, bark, and now I ROAR!

Today mom and dad took me to the Fort Worth Stockshow and Rodeo (though we didn't do the rodeo part this year... maybe next)... This was the first time any of us had been (mom and dad have been to the Houston one, but not the Fort Worth) so none of us knew how much fun we were going to have...

Look how excited I was!

When we got to the carnival section mom let me get out and walk around... now you can check out my rodeo wear...

I have a horsey shirt on that is western cut, jeans, and a pink bow with a horse in the center...

We shared a corn dog for lunch and ate a TON of it and then I got the good stuff... COTTON CANDY! This was my first cotton candy experience and this stuff is BLISS!

Savoring each bite...

Until I was a huge mess! Mom had no idea that's what cotton candy turned into when it got wet...

Dad and I stopped to check out this...

These people are CRAZY!

Mom and I found The Moos Brothers and took a picture... I waved and said hi to them until mom got me up there... then I was scared again...

We shared some funnel cake... SO good!

I tried to make my piece last as long as possible...

But then I decided to devour it...

We saw some BIG bunnies...

"Ewww he touched me"...

And this goat wanted to take a picture with us...

Last we stopped at the children's barnyard and saw piglets and baby donkeys and other animal friends (the line for the petting zoo was 30 minutes so we skipped it... especially with a trip to the zoo planned for next week)...

After a nice long nap for me and mommy we went to Outback for dinner... it's become one of our favorite places because I'm such a good eater there. I love mom's baked sweet potato and her green beans and tonight I even ate some of her steak. YUM!

Also I love to run up and down their wheelchair ramps...

Oh and I have to hold the buzzer at any restaurant we go to...

Mommy and daddy let me hang out on the table for as long as possible... tonight I was devouring ice (a first)... mom thinks it was feeling good on my molars...

After we got home I found my sunglasses on the table (mom had laid them out to take today but forgot them)...

"Check me out!"

"Am I a star?"

"Peekaboo"...

"No autographs please..."

Mom also caught me climbing one of my toys tonight...

"What... this is dangerous?"

"But I don't want to get down..." Anyone have any recommendations on a good climbing toy for kids?

Of course we had to catch up on our Superstars of Dance on PBS...

Meet the Lucky 07...

So today was our 3rd meeting with the Lucky 07 playgroup and we are SO excited to join this awesome group! Mommy said it's time for all our blog readers to get to know the new cast of characters...

"What do you mean that my playgroup is no longer together? What happened?"

"Oh we're going to go play with the kids we played with last week?"

"Let's go!"

Today the Lucky 07's went to Jump for Fun. They have toddler time where big kids aren't allowed so we can get in all the bounce houses without getting trampled...

Ok so this is Hudson or "Huddy"... he's super cute! He's 17 months old and always on the move... oh and he's definitely the best dressed...

This is Carter, he's 19 months old and he already has a little sister! (You can see her feet outside the bounce house)...

This is Milla... HA! You know me... I'm the kid always on the slide...

Hey 3 kids all standing still long enough to take a picture... amazing!

This is Brooklyn (she's 18 months old) and he mommy is having another baby next month! We can't wait to play with baby Stella!

This is Elmo... not part of our playgroup, but one of my best friends... I walked up to him and said "Elmo, Elmo"... mom was SO impressed!

Check me out going through a tunnel... I kept trying to stand up, but I was too tall...

Mom thought I looked SO small compared to the huge bounce houses...

When daddy saw this picture he said "wow she was all over the place"... yes I was...

See how happy I was??

Mom didn't get pictures of a few of my new friends, but we promise to take more pictures the next time we meet... we're even planning a Valentine's Party at Hudson's house...

I haven't slept in the car since November... but playgroup was SO exhausting today... I was out like a light!

Tonight mommy was making me laugh and it reminded her of my first laughing video...

A Fun Day!

Mom is really working hard to wear me out every day! It seems like I am just FULL of boundless energy...

We started the day with a cute sweater from Gymboree that Jenny found in the clearance bin in August... gotta love $4 sweaters!

"Yes Maggie there's a bunny on my shirt... no you can't chase it"

"What? I have the same jeans on as yesterday?"... maybe it's time to buy a 2nd pair!

Mom thinks this picture looks like a first day of school picture...

Blowing kisses!

So this morning we went to the Hurst Public Library Toddler Time... SO much fun! We will definitely be doing this every week now! They have toddler time on Monday and Thursday at 10am... we sang songs, read books and played afterwards.

Loving this chair... it's so comfy!

Look at their cute play area...

This afternoon we went to the mall to play in the indoor playground... I had SO much fun! I even climbed in this rocket by myself...

Check me out!

Mom decided to spend the $1 for a carousel ride... not quite the carousel from yesterday, but still fun!

This was the best part! Mom doesn't know what these are called, but it's an interactive screen on the floor that responds to my dancing...

Working on my moves...

I also mastered twirling today... mom doesn't know when she'll be able to capture it on video, but she'll keep trying!!!

When we got home we went on another wagon ride and after my nap, daddy and I played on my Rody horse... he's so much fun!

Can you believe that mommy is even able to keep up with this pace? She says she's exhausted at the end of the day... If anyone has suggestions for her on how to wear me out... let her know!!!
