Happy Birthday Grandma Kitty!

Today Papa and Grandma Kitty came over for a play date. We went to the mall, ate chick-fil-a (I love chicken nuggets), shopped at Gymboree (yay Gymbucks!) and I got to show off my skills at the play area...

"Here Piggy Piggy..."

Papa was nice enough to help me down the slide a few times (mom worries about me falling off the steps on the back)...

Aren't we cute?

Before we left the mall I showed them my skills on the interactive mat... it's so much fun!

Tonight we went to Abuelo's to celebrate Grandma Kitty's birthday... she kept me entertained in the car with her purse and treats...

I even got a balloon from the table next to us at dinner...

Here is the birthday cake mommy made for Grandma Kitty...

and here is the birthday girl! Happy Birthday Grandma Kitty!

This was my reaction when I spotted the birthday cake (mom had been hiding it)...

Daddy and I have so much fun together!

Caught in the middle of being tickled...

Grandma Kitty helped me tie my balloon to me so I could take it around the house without tripping over it...

Here's a picture of the whole outfit... mommy is pretty glad for this last cold front... I get to wear some of my super cute winter outfits one more time...

Playing peek-a-boo with Grandma and Papa while we ate cake...

Overalls Yall!

First mom needs to show off some craftiness... Bakerella posted instructions for these the other day and since Grandma Kitty's birthday is this weekend, mom had to give them a try... she's not super pleased with the way they turned out... but Grandma Kitty was smiling ear to ear when she saw them...

This morning I was a little sleepy when mommy and daddy were getting ready for the day so I crashed on Maggie's bed... it's the perfect size!

Watching Jack's Big Music Show with my Chex...

"This is the life!"

I'm getting much better about eating out of a bowl without tipping them over (and if I do... Maggie's always there to clean up)...

Doing my stretches...

Mom picked up this adorable overall dress at OshKosh the other day...

Since it was almost 90 degrees today... it was the perfect time to debut some of my spring wear...

Mom took me to the park before it got too hot... we had a Sonic picnic and I was off to play...

This little guy "Peanut" was the highlight of the park!

But I found some time to explore too... Notice mom solved the skinned knee dilemma... Baby Legs...

Too bad neither of us speak very good English... I know he was trying to tell me something... I introduced myself as "Mimi" to him... Mom thinks this is what I'm going to call myself at first (pretty close to Milla)...

This was the moment mom realized that I have grown my wings... I left her FAR behind me and took off to chase the kids and the dog...

Look... the big kids are actually treating me like a "kid" and not a baby... AMAZING!

All tuckered out! I was pooped and sweaty!

Grandma Kitty and Papa arrived this evening in time for Thursday night pizza and Papa had to try out mommy's new camera...

He's pretty good huh? (check out ALL my curls!!!)

Happy mommy & baby!!! :)

A Ridiculously Cute Outfit for Running Errands...

So mom is really struggling with my new spring clothes being too big and being bored with my old stuff, so she's trying to mix it up a bit. Today was 81 degrees, so mom decided a new skirt was in order (I'll be wearing a lot more skirts this year... even though mommy is petrified of skinned knees)... the result was this super cute outfit...

I kind of look like Milla the Godzilla about to crush a pink school bus full of kids in this picture... Grrroooowwwlll...

Mom loves to take me outside for photo shoots... she says the light is much better... I think it's because I smile more when I'm outside...

Yesterday Miss Rita was outside and I was convinced she was out there again and kept waving over to her yard...

All dressed up and no where to go!

This is where the photo shoot went horribly wrong... mommy saw me fall... freaked out (worried about skinned knees) and ran down the stairs to swoop me up (notice my pleading hands)...

...when she did, the new camera BONKED me in the head! It even left a little welt... mom was sure it was going to bleed and she was going to be responsible for my first stitch, but it turned out ok.

I did get a few magic m&ms for being so brave... has mom told you about magic m&ms?

For some reason when I fall and hurt myself (which seems to happen a lot lately)... all it takes is 1 or 2 m&ms and I totally forget my pain... seriously... it works every time!

2nd Post:: Little Gym Graduation

Today I sported a shirt that my Aunt Kathy gave me at Thanksgiving.. it says "Hugs, Kisses & Rock N' Roll"... TOO COOL!

Mom took me outside to do a little photo shoot before Little Gym...

She was really surprised that I know how to go down this step now without falling... I still hesitate a little, but I don't fall very often anymore.

Every time I heard a car go by I would wave... I do this funny little bent over sneaky wave when I want to look cute...

"When can I cross the street on my own?"

"Come on mom let's go inside and get ready for Little Gym..."

She said one more smile, so I gave her a cheesy one...

Today was graduation day at Little Gym... me and all my friends are staying in the same class next semester (which begins next week) so it wasn't as exciting as my last graduation in November... mommy says that looking at those graduation pictures made her sad and proud... she never realizes how fast I'm growing up until she sees pictures from just a few months ago... back then I couldn't walk, I didn't talk much, and I was still mastering crawling... I have come a LONG way!

See I'm not afraid of the parachute anymore...

I'll even ride on top of it...

They sang our ABC's to us while we went around in a circle...

"Mommy did I learn how to jump rope this semester and I just don't remember?"

This is something I got really good at this semester... hanging from the bars...

Miss Natalie was really impressed to see me supporting myself like this...

This is my sweet teacher Miss Natalie... I give her a hard time, but I love her very much...

So much that I'll let her do a flip with me!

Although I was pretty surprised when I realized mommy wasn't there to grab me (because she was taking a picture)...

Yay! A picture of mommy & me where we are both smiling and looking at the camera!

When the other kids were getting their medals, I decided I wanted to do the obstacle course...

I did the whole thing by myself...

Here I am getting my medal (and worrying that Miss Natalie was going to flip me again)...

We tried to take a class picture, but it didn't work out very well...

Mom tried to get a picture of me with my medal... this too was not a success...

But I do still love the balls...

I was the very first one to put mine away today! Mom was SO proud!
