Lucky 07's Playgroup at My House!

I have been in a Mom's League playgroup for 2 years and we've never hosted playgroup at our house... crazy huh? Mom just felt like the old house was too small to entertain kids, but this house is perfect! We were suppose to go to the Botanical Gardens today, but it was windy and cloudy and we decided a house play date might be more fun so mommy offered our house.

Jacob was first to arrive...

with his sister Madeline (isn't she a doll!)...

I showed off my gymnastics skills...

While Jacob checked out the swing...

Keira was excited to finally swing on the swing she had heard so much about at school!

They took a turn on the seesaw too...

Keira and I played dollhouse...

and then we headed downstairs for snack time (that's Kyle)...

We are such big kids eating at the big table!

Sweet Kyle... we play so well together!

Jacob and I jumped on mommy and daddy's bed...

and tickled...

Can you tell we were having fun?

I found my dress up closet and asked to wear my horse...

Isn't he cute?

Kyle opened up a grocery store...

While Keira and Gavin played music...

The babies were SO sweet together!

For about 30 minutes Kyle and I played grocery store buying food from eachother and exchanging money... it was SO fun!

Tonight after dinner it was beautiful outside and mommy eyed her roller skates and decided it was time to have some fun. She warmed up for a little while and finally got brave enough to skate with me in her arms. Mommy has roller skated FOREVER and it's always been one of her favorite things to do...

The street and driveway are perfectly smooth concrete so we had a blast!

She showed me how to spin and skate backwards...

I adore when mommy is willing to be goofy with me!

Look at how much fun we were having!

I practiced my skating moves sans skates for now...

But mom found some "My First Skates" that she's thinking we might buy this weekend. I promise to wear knee pads and a helmet and not try to skate backwards the first day!

Preschool Music Performance...

Today was a special day at school (proof that the year is winding down)...

We had our music performance today...

Since it was animal themed mommy decided to dress me in my zebra best!

Here are the big kids walking into the sanctuary...

See that little panda hat? That's me!

For some reason my hat wouldn't stay on me (blame the bow)...

and annoyingly mommy's flash wouldn't go off!

Addison and I sat in April's lap for most of the performance...

While the rest of the class performed...

We sang "He's Got the Whole World" and when we got to the little bitty baby part Jimmy showed us where babies live... HA!

Can you tell how much fun he was having?

At the end of the performance the entire school performed one song together... mom was really impressed that I went back up there after sitting in her lap. While I definitely didn't "perform" I did dance a little bit...

Here I am blowing kisses...

and taking a bow...

After school we all headed to the playground to release the butterflies...

They were SO pretty! I really wanted them to land on my head!

Wednesday Playgroup...

I was so excited when mom told me my friends were coming over this morning!

First Madeline arrived...

Then Bubba...

Bubba had to check out daddy's handiwork on the swing and make sure it was safe...

Addi arrived next and jumped right in...

The cash register is always a HUGE hit!

Coco and I rode on our ponies...

while Madeline did some dress up...

My friends are seriously funny! Bubba was playing with the car on his HEAD!

He loves to make mommy laugh...

He even ventured into the girl toys...

We checked out my new library and read some books (see Sleeping Judy reading with us)...

Austin arrived (which I had spent the morning asking for him)...

Bubba tried to master the trampoline...

While Austin checked out the swing...

This picture makes me laugh... Bubba put a car and a bottle in the stroller to push around... such a boy!

The boys decided to try out the seesaw together and they did great!

Thank you friends for coming over! Sorry I had a few toddler moments of not wanting to share (these 2 year molars really make me moody)...

After nap time we took a family walk over to the neighborhood pond...

Isn't it pretty?

There are even ducks! We'll be taking lots more walks over there!
