TUESDAY

Mom says she cannot resist my cuteness... I begged for her granola bar and she handed it over... it was REALLY good and hard, great for teething!


"This is good mom, maybe we could share one for breakfast everyday"


"Hi Maggie, do you want some?"


"Here just lick my hand and you can get a taste"


One of my favorite things to do these days is cruise around in my walker with my Papa doll...


"Can we make Maggie a bow mom?" (yes I got into mom's bow making supplies, they look like SO much fun!)


We spent most of the day working on cupcakes and a cake for Daddy's birthday tomorrow. Mom was planning on me taking a nap while she decorated them, but I had other ideas...

Give me that icing!


"Mmmmm... where have you been all my life beater"....


"Ahhh teething with sugar!"


"What I'm covered in icing??? Can I lick it off my own face?"


After refusing to nap mom needed some mommy company so Corbin and I met up for lunch at Chick-fil-a with our mommies and then we all went over to Barnes and Noble to play with the Thomas the Train train set. It was alot of fun!

Corbin is really pulling up now...

"Hey Corbin how you doing up there?"


Mom says this is the closest I've ever let Corbin get to me without fussing... Go me!


Ever since I got my booster chair, dinnertime has become MUCH more fun! I spend most of dinner just playing with my food and laughing...

Mommy is a member of an mommy website and she has a secret sister. Her secret sister sent her flowers... They are SO pretty and made mommy's day! Thanks secret sister!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Mom and I went up to daddy's work for lunch and to see his co-workers...

Mom picked me up some watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries at Central Market... I definitely liked the strawberries the best...

"What do you mean I have to have a bath now?" Actually bath time is one of my favorite times of the day!

Saying Mama...

I've been saying "Mama" when I cry for a long time (makes mommy sad every time I do it)... but this morning I started working on saying it when babbling... I still don't say it directly to mom, but at least I'm working on it...

My First Kappa Event!

Today mommy took me to my first Kappa Kappa Gamma event. It was a baby shower for mommy's pledge sister Maddalen who is having a little boy next month. Mom spent the entire drive there telling me how much she loves Kappa and these girls and how much she hopes I'm a Kappa someday..

Here we are before we left... Mom decided I should wear "blue and blue" (Kappa colors).

"What are yall all laughing at"... Mom and her friends are REALLY chatty and they laughed alot... most of them hadn't seen eachother in a few years... they were very excited to talk.

This is Maddalen... she and mommy have been friends for 13 years (wow!)


This is mommy's friend Darla... they were best friends in college and mom hadn't seen her in years... she was SO happy to see Darla...

Swimming with my Dog

We started the day off with banana pancakes... homemade by mom!

Mom and dad call this my first grade smile... note Maggie sitting right by me waiting for my leftovers.


Then after naptime we went swimming... all summer long Maggie and I have been separated during swim time. She gets a little crazy in the pool and mom was worried about traumatizing me... well today mom loosened up a little and decided we should swim together... I think Maggie was impressed with my swim moves!

Maggie is an EXCELLENT swimmer! I have a lot to learn from her!


Dad turned the hot tub into a kiddie pool! That's where all the shade was so he turned on the fountain so I could play... SO MUCH FUN!


I also figured out if I put my hand over the fountain I could make it stop... ahh the joys of cause and effect!

The pool does funny things to my hair... today it made the side curl up... see my funny curl?


This was right before we went to dinner... I was SO good at dinner again tonight! YAY me!


Tonight has been another rough one for teething... Dad says he can see the top ones about to poke through and he says they are BIG! Mom is thinking maybe I should be a bunny rabbit for Halloween...

My teeth hurt so bad tonight that I wouldn't go to bed at bedtime, so mom and I made brownies for daddy and I worked on my walker skills... I'm finally going forward in it and made it all the way across the kitchen to mom! Now if I can just figure out that blasted crawling!

So this is my new stuffed animal... she's a puppet and she looks just like Callie the cat! She looks SO much like her that mom and dad have both walked by her a couple of times and thought it was Callie!

I've decided to skip crawling and just bounce on my butt... it's much cuter... this morning I was even bouncing to the beat on Blue's Clues... mom thinks I have musicality... She promises to try to get a longer version of it sometime soon, but this was all we could get tonight.
