Playgroup & Visitors...

I was pretty excited when I woke up this morning and mommy told me we were going to playgroup... it's been a while since we played with my playgroup friends...

Of course going to playgroup means a cute outfit...

Sorry Papa, I know you don't liek the black background, but mom forgot to pick up a gray one...

This picture kind of freaked mom out... she thinks I really look like a little girl in this picture...

But a cute little girl...

Playgroup was hosted by Luke... this is Luke... I think he likes me...

He crawled over to me and then gave mommy this look like "is this ok?"

Then he moved closer... I think he was flirting...

Here's our whole playgroup (some are missing)...

Here we are at the end of June... we're growing up fast!

I took my afternoon nap late and when I woke up... I had visitors!
Nana & Grandad evacuated from Houston and came to see me!

I definitely remembered them this time...

Mom got a few pictures of me in my cute strawberry hat...

Mom wishes she had this hat in every fruit for me...

"Am I cute Nana?"

Yes I still have a little baby fat on my cheeks...

"What do you think dad... am I cute?"

We went back to Spring Creek for some BBQ which meant green beans for me!!! (can you believe I left my hat on the entire dinner???)

See mom promised that if I kept it on I could have ice cream... mmmmm.... ice cream!!

Maggie & My Leopard Print

I adore my dog! I love pulling her tail...

Rolling underneath her...

Petting her... she's my best friend!

Aren't we cute?

Mom caught me trying to get the laptop to post on my blog... too bad I still don't know how to type!

Jeans are interesting... so far I'm not impressed...

My thighs are so big that I couldn't bend my legs! Hard to practice crawling if you can't bend your legs!

"Why can't I crawl?"

"Mom PLEASE take these off..." (hopefully my legs will thin out when I get mobile and I can wear them again because they are super cute!)

"Ahhh these are much better!"

This morning mom and I went to our first MOPS meeting... I did great again and got to wear my fun leopard print outfit again...

My hair is getting so curly that some people have started asking mom if she is curling it with a curling iron... as if!

Practicing my faces...

Me and my mommy before the meeting....

Maggie always wants to be in the picture...

Here are some pics of me in the same outfit on May 31st...

Look at how much my hair has grown!

Some Videos

This first video is my new babbling skills... I say ba ba ba... put in this high pitched sing-song voice... it cracks mom up when she hears it in the backseat!

Some more walker antics... Daddy loves to play hide and seek with me and I get so excited!

I seem to have really good rhythm and I've started to love playing the "pat pat" game with anyone who will play...

Mom has some pictures to post this afternoon so check back!

First Class at Little Gym...

Mom finally found a park for us to go to in the morning that has actual KIDS at it! SO fun! Parr Park is where Mom's League always has their events so we thought we would give it a try... mom even saw a friend from Mom's League there... We'll be going back very soon!

"Mom I really like this park..."

"See those kids over there?"... Mom likes the firetruck playground... so cool!

Mom woke me up early from my morning nap with fun news...

Today was my first Little Gym class...

Mom decided I should wear monkeys since I was going to be "monkeying around"...

"Ha... you're punny mom"...

This is my new smile... mom is hoping it doesn't stick... but it sure is cute.

We didn't get any pictures of the class... but I had a great time and when we were done Miss Rachel gave me a stamp on my foot... it's a bee! Daddy was worried I got a tattoo while he was at work. My favorite thing so far about Little Gym is Loopdy Loops... Miss Kirsten was right they are the best!

After class mom took me for gelato since I did so good... YUMMY!!! GET IN MY TUMMY!

"Ahhh... much better..."

When we got home I practiced my crawling a little more...

Mom was super excited because Ellen premiered today... Ellen makes her day happy...

I was excited because the Jonas Brothers were on... I danced (mom needs to post the video but she's too tired)... and tried to crawl over to them.... they are SO cute!

Last Pool Day...

Have I told you about my blankie? I love my blankie SO much! I usually don't leave my crib without it and have even been seen walking around in my walker with it in my mouth...

It makes a great head wrap...

See?

Still working on my crawling... also working on pulling up... I think I'm going to do both on the same day... I'm getting SO close!

The Fort Pool is officially closed for fall/winter. Daddy promises we'll get in the hot tub a few times this month, but our pool days are over.

Here are some pics from our last adventure...

"Brrr... it's kind of cold in here mom..."

"You promise it'll warm up?"

Flashback... here's my first pool experience back in May...

Playing with my ducky...

SO tall!

Flashback to the first pool day again...

Cozy in my towel getting warm after all that fun...

Our family pic in our Cowboy shirts... today was the season opener and I cut my afternoon nap short so I could watch it... GO COWBOYS!!!

My 9 month statistics...

Ok here are my statistics (mom busted out her measuring tape this morning)...

I'm 18.8 pounds, and that is
at the 43th percentile for weight (I was 17 pounds at my 7 month appointment)

I'm 28 inches long, and that is
at the 57th percentile for height (I was 26 inches at my 7 month appointment)

My head circumference is 18.8 inches, and that is
at greater than the 97th percentile for head circumference (My head was 17.75 at my 7 month appointment)...

So it looks like I'll fit in my 6 to 12 month clothes for a little while longer (and I'm fitting pretty well in 12 to 18 month clothes as well)... Mom says that clothes that fit me well last month are hanging off of me this month, we think I'm just thinning out as I get longer...

As far as hats... well mom had to buy me a 2T-5T hat the other day... no wonder I can't crawl! I'm all head!
