Our Trip to Austin Part: 2

I started the day grabbing my drawing board and asking dad to draw me an Aldator...


He did a pretty good job...


I asked for it to have a tongue and showed mommy mine...


We headed to Rudy's for breakfast tacos... YUM!


Daddy really enjoyed his!


Then we headed back over to see Grant and his family...

Then it was time to see Baby Grant... mom made us matching t-shirts... (his says "Grant" and mine says "Grant's Cousin")...


again the stairs were my favorite part...


Mom was holding Grant and I thought he might like Barney so I brought Barney to see him...


After our visit with the Noreds we headed to Waterlou with Grandma Kitty & Papa...

They have a playscape outside!


Too bad it was 90 degrees and felt like 200 with the humidity!


Mom & dad toughed it out though and took turns with me...


After lunch we headed to Jungle Java to meet up with the Guerra family!


What a fun place! It's full of slides and tunnels...


My hair will never be as long as Emme's... but I don't think her's will ever be as curly...

She's a sliding pro!


Climbing back up...


I really liked sliding while holding hands with daddy...


But did a few solo runs too...


Daddy helped me go across a big rope...


and Emme's daddy helped her do it too...


We finished the day scratching the tigers on the wall...

Thanks for meeting up with us Emme! What a fun weekend we had! I actually went 2 days without a nap and mom was scared that this would become a trend, but I'm back on schedule today!

Our Trip to Austin Part: 1

On Saturday morning we woke up early and headed south to Austin to meet my new cousin Grant.

In Temple we stopped for lunch and I got to play at the Chick-fil-A play area... needless to say I wasn't anxious to get back in the car until mom said the magic word... "papa" (her actual words were "do you want to go see Papa"... I shook my head yes and walked to the door ready for the rest of my car ride...

I love my papa!


He took me up to meet baby Grant...


and Aunt Rinny let me play with some of his toys...


What an awesome longhorn!


Daddy came on the trip too... he did a lot of toddler coralling while mom spent time with Grant... thanks dad!


While Grant took a nap, I played mommy...


and ran down the hallways...


and spent a LOT of time on the stairs!


mom helped Aunt Rinny get him all snuggled in for his first swing...


He LOVED it!


Papa needed some pictures with Grant... he's always the photographer!


Only mommy is looking at the camera... but it's still a cute candid...

Mom was so excited to finally hold Grant...


This is the first time mommy has been an Aunt to a newborn...

Day 2 of our visit will be posted tomorrow. Mom doesn't sleep very well in hotels and she's BEAT!

October Mom's League Meeting...

There is always a shortage of pictures on Mom's League meeting days. I went with mom this month so a special outfit was in order...


My doggie friend Ali came to visit. Her parents are going to dog sit Maggie this weekend while we are in Austin...


Oh how mom loves this dress...


Mom is in charge of setting up the room this year so she brought me some activities to do while she worked on getting the room ready...

I didn't do so great at the meeting. Mom was hoping I would do better in their daycare since I'm doing so well at preschool, but I cried the entire time. Maybe next month it will be better.

Tonight we headed to Genghis Grill... one of the great things about Genghis Grill is there is a huge area to run around in outside the movie theater when I'm finished eating...


and the restaurant next door has Aldators! I was SO excited!


They even had an Aldator bench!

Minnie Mouse Dress for Preschool...

Mom picked this dress up for me a couple of months ago on clearance... isn't it cute?


We were running behind so we didn't get a ton of pictures (forgive the garage in the background)...


Daddy making me laugh (I've all of the sudden gotten over being attached to mommy and I want my daddy!)


I had a great day at school today! I even asked for more pretzels at snack time. I've picked up 3 new words this week "phone", "princess" and "pony"... I seem to have a thing for P words...


Having fun with daddy when he got home...


I love to have my friends slide with me...


and I'm definitely NOT afraid of heights...

I got a package in the mail today from Nana and Pop Pop...
