Thank You Bakerella! - Video Added!

Keep reading... two posts today...

First a couple of eating pictures... mom wanted to capture what she sees on a daily basis... sweet potato puree all over my face and a cracker in each hand...

And a flashback moment... here's the first time mom captured my mealtime on film...


I definitely have my straw sippy cup down...


FINALLY mommy broke out the good stuff...

She showed me the cupcakes she had made for daddy to take to work and I was with her this morning when we took them to the Board meeting (they were a huge hit and she already has ORDERS!!!), but I hadn't had one yet...

Mom wanted to save the sugar high for the middle of the day...

"Ok so how exactly do I get into this thing?"


"Maybe I'll just take a big bite..."


Then mom decided a video was necessary...

The sugar is definitely hitting me at this point...


"Roar... bzzz.... bzzz... sugar high is coming..."


"Yummm... definitely finger licking good!"


Thanks Bakerella! This is the smile of a baby who LOVES cake pops!!!

Dancing & Puppy Ears

We went on our nightly buggy walk, but a cold front is coming in and it's pretty cold outside so mommy put my puppy ears on... It's the first time I've ever left a hat on the entire time (it was cold mom)...

Cupcake Craftiness...

Ok mom here... hijacking Milla's blog tonight...

First as I was working on the craftiness to follow Roger said "take a picure... take a picture" and this is what I got... he said "me and my girls..." SO sweet being that he can just barely stand the cat.

I love Milla's hair in this first picture... her hair after her naps is HILARIOUS!


This picture shows why the cat still has a place to live... Milla LOVES her!!!


So on to the cupcake craftiness...

I've been looking for something fun to give as favors at Milla's birthday party... I googled "cupcake lollipops" last night and found Bakerella's website (if you have some time on your hands, enjoy all the wonderful baking goodness her blog has to offer).

Here is the recipe for her Cupcake Pops. She was actually featured on The Martha Stewart Show with these and I can't believe I hadn't heard about them before! They are the PERFECT addition to a cupcake themed birthday party... Now honestly I've never been able to do ANYTHING featured on The Martha Stewart Show (heck usually I don't even know what the ingredients are that she speaks of), but Roger peaked over my shoulder and said "you can do those" when I was gushing over Bakerella's blog... I guess I felt up for a challenge...


I am absolutely DELIGHTED with how they turned out!

Luckily Roger's work is good about enjoying my craft projects and I have a GCSML Board Meeting tomorrow to take them to as well...

Today was beautiful! Mom and I headed to the park and took some swing shots...

Mom said it looked like I was swaddled... mom has been REALLY sentimental lately with my first birthday approaching... so she went back in the archives and found this similar picture from Dec 15th of last year...

Cow PJs & Bella's 1st Birthday Party...

Mom was in love with these pajamas when it was still 100 degrees outside... so she jumped at them when they went on sale... she says it's like a costume, but pajamas...

This afternoon was Bella's first birthday party... It was my first trip to Gymboree Play & Learn and it was SO much fun...

And then I got a balloon and a goody bag... Thanks for having us Bella... it was an awesome party!
