and she made special flowers for all my friends... pixie stick flowers... they LOVED them!
At Dana's dress rehearsal is at 9am and then the show is at 6:30pm... it's a LONG day!
But I was ready! Especially with my good luck charm Lovie in her tutu...

Mom got downstairs in time to watch Bella's dance...

after dress rehearsal we watched the big girls dance and put my hair in rollers...
we spent the afternoon with Grandma Kitty & Papa Don and eventually it was time to get ready for the show! Nothing like a pixie stick to help you get your energy back!
All those hours in curlers were worth it!

Ok mom had to snap this one... it was A LONG time to wait and mommy had to help take care of all my friends so she couldn't answer my beck and call... I never cried, but I definitely did a little pouting...
and then Abby helped distract me...
See it was hard on my friends too... just too much waiting! The moms brought snacks and coloring pages, but we just wanted to DANCE!
Finally some games started...
and finally we made it on stage!
Mom missed the first part of my routine, but here is the rest... I'm the one on the very end...
I was VERY proud of myself!
At intermission we went out to see Papa Don, Grandma Kitty & daddy...
Papa Don spent MANY years attending recitals and competitions with mommy and her sister, I'm so glad he was able to come watch me!
And my sweet Grandma Kitty, they weren't able to come last year so it meant the world to have them there this year!
