Finally it was time to hit the beach! We awoke at the beautiful island of Cozumel (home of mom's college spring break vacation) & we were excited to go to the beach!
We decided not to do an excursion and we were headed to a beach that another travel planner had recommended, on our way our taxi driver suggested the beach next door and promised we would be happier. We are SO glad we listened to him! Mom walked over to the other beach and it was no where as nice as ours!
I however liked the beach about as much as I did in Corpus Christi...
But we did stop for some beach pictures... mom never thought she'd be posting a picture of herself in a bikini on the blog BUT she's met her weight loss goals and she's proud of what she's accomplished..
I'm proud too...
and I was super excited to sassy pose with her...
Our saving grace was that this beach had a pool! A HUGE pool! YAY!
It even had immaculately clean bathrooms and showers...
All this for $2 a person!
You can pay $12 a person and play on all their recreation stuff, but we skipped that...
Mom went on a quick walk on the beach...
While we swam... The pools on the cruise are small, so it was great to stretch out and enjoy!
and even do some water ballet!
It was a super fun day!
Silly upside down sunglasses!
I enjoyed seeing the island on the way back to the ship...
and someone offered to take our picture... YAY!
Silly Goofy painting the ship!
We spent the afternoon at the onboard movie theater... we watched about half of Finding Nemo in 3D.
and then we headed to princess craft time...
and science open house at Oceaneer's Lab...
Finally it was time for semi-formal night...
me and Walt...
me and my prince...
Our family...
a little closer up...
Waiting to see the show...
and then we headed down to meet Dopey (I had never met him before)...
Mom and dad relaxed for a little while...
While I went to a pajama party at the Oceaneer's Club...
