Larry the Leprechaun brought me a few presents on St. Patrick's Day morning...
The best one was a bubble gun!
Mom made green waffles... yum!
and then we got ready for a little road trip...
The company daddy works for (Best Maid Pickles) has it's pickle tanks in
Mansfield and this year the city of Mansfield and Best Maid worked
together to launch the 1st Annual St. Patrick's Day Pickle
Parade!
We were super excited to join the festivities and have a fun St. Patrick's Day Parade alternative to the wild one in Dallas...
Ready for it to start!
We had to wait quite a while before it began, but I was very patient!
Finally we started to see people we knew! Mr. Gary from daddy's work was the Grand Marshal...
Smiley!
More Best Maid mobiles...
The rest of the parade followed behind and it was mostly pickle themed...
Pickle cars...
The famous motorcycle Elvis's (they were hilarious)...
Lots of pickle themed entries...
Super cute puppies!
and almost everyone was out of candy before they got to us (which I handled remarkably well!)...
After the parade was over we walked over to the after-party for all the parade participants...
It was packed! This little house was my hideout!
The Pickle Queens arrived... yes these are women... yes they are wearing wigs... they are very interesting!
I still just wanted to be n the house!
The Pickle Queens went up on stage while Best Maid got an award from the City of Mansfield...
Mr. Brian and Mr. Gary on stage...
This is how crowded it got... if you know mom, you know she doesn't do crowds... so we had to bail out... it was just WAY too many people! But we are so glad we went! We were all very proud to be part of the Best Maid family!
