On the Road to Houston...

This morning after a little play time with the neighborhood boys we headed off to Houston...

I was excited to have my best friend in the backseat with me...

I know I don't look thrilled, but I just wasn't thrilled to be in the car...

We stopped in College Station for lunch and to stretch our legs... but honestly, it just made it worse...

I got to remember how fun it is to run around and it made the car ride seem even longer...

We finally got to Nana and Pop Pop's house and I was in toddler heaven! Mom did a great job packing toys for me and enjoyed exploring their house...

Finally it was time for dinner, Papa and Grandma Kitty joined us too...

Then I put on a show...

Daddy helped...

I was TOTALLY goofy... this is only the 2nd day in 2 years that I've gone without a nap...

I hung on till 8pm though...

I was spinning these bracelets saying "Yehaw"...

Daddy is a great supporting actor in my performance...

after some kangaroo hops it was time to go to bed...

and Maggie took the best seat in the house... Nana's chair...

We are ready for Turkey Day tomorrow!

Mommy's Little Errand Buddy...

We are headed to Houston tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving with both sets of my grandparents... you can imagine all the things mom needed to get done before we left... and I didn't have school today! So I got to be Mommy's Little Errand Buddy...

But first we had some fun at home... nothing like coloring a Goofy page while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...

Mom repositioned me so I could watch a little easier...

Next came Barney... mom was putting away some clothes when I came running to her saying "Rosie... Rosie"...

After we did Ring Around the Rosie 15 times, mom encouraged me to do it with Plex and Foofah... Listen to how good my singing is...
video

She says I had to include this one too (mainly because she has no idea where I picked up the phrase "oh gosh")...
video

We are working on following direction during picture taking so mom asked me to go to the front door, look at her nose and say cheese...

Not bad...

I ask to drive every day...

During our errands we went to Hobby Lobby, the bank, Target, Toys R Us and ended it at the mall. Gymboree is having a CRAZY good sale! I got to eat my lunch right by Santa's village and watch him interact with the other kids...

Right as I was getting warmed up he went on his lunch break... with no one there mom thought it might be a good chance for me to explore his chair and books without him...

She was SO surprised when I stole a lollipop from his stash! Think he'll dock me a present?

I guess I figured since he gave me one the last time he saw me it was ok for me to take another one... guard your lollipops...

When we get home from errands I always ask to play outside... Mom use to try to encourage me to go inside by asking if I wanted to go see Maggie... well now I just say "Maggie outside too"... Maggie LOVES coming in the front yard with me...

She gets new sticks to chew...

and I get a friend to play "got you" with...

Wish us luck tomorrow as we spend 4+ hours on the road...

ASI & Parr Park...

Another funny manger picture...

Holy Cow!

This morning we headed to ASI for gymnastics... mom was SO thankful they were having classes even though it's technically Thanksgiving Break...

Midjump...

I haven't wanted to jump lately... instead I say "Milla... sit... watch" and then I watch my friends jump... put today mom asked me to jump like a kangaroo and I wouldn't stop! (see my kangaroo hands?)
video

I still love to seat drop!
video

Next came my favorite part... DANCE!

We walked in a circle...

and Mousercised...

Mom has SUCH fond memories of herself Mousercising in the 80's... she begged Grandma Kitty to buy her a record called Mousercise in 1982 (mom googled it)... it had Disco Duck and Mousercise and other songs and she listened to it all the time...
video

Can you find me the music too mom?

Our group activity today was climbing across the entire length of the pit... It was HARD!

But I made it!

Having fun in the obstacle course...

Bear crawling...

I still LOVE to swing on the bars...

Look at how high my toe touch is now!

Time for stamps with Zack & Patrick...

After gymnastics we headed over Parr Park to play with Mom's League friends...

I was so excited to see Brooklyn!

We collected nuts...

and went down the slide...

Karyssa was there too...

I met a cat, who I quickly became friends with...

Mom couldn't stop me because she knows at the same age she would have done the same thing...

"Bye mom... me and the cat are heading off on an adventure"...

"See ya!"

Finally he went to sleep and I played drums with Brooklyn...

After naptime we got to play with Brooklyn again at her house for a little while (mom needed to drop something off) and then we headed across the street to Town Square...

Where I got to ride on Santa's sleigh!

and check out his little village...

I was super excited about the sleigh though and I know it's hard to believe, but I climbed up in there ALL BY MYSELF!

Bella's Birthday Party!

This morning mom noticed there was a new addition to my manger scene...

Can you spot it?

The Elmo brothers were there!

I decided I wanted to be at the birth of Jesus too so I climbed up on my table to be in the scene... I love my manger... I know Baby Jesus, Joseph and Mary and the Angel... (dad tried to teach me the proper names for the wisemen, but mom thought that was a little much)...

Today was an extra fun day! It was Bella's Birthday Party! Happy 2nd birthday Bella!

I was so excited to go to a party! Especially when I realized it was at a jump house!

It was at Jump Zone in Southlake...

I played some air hockey...

Bella and I did the see saw...

How cute is Bella's Elmo outfit? SO fun!

Miss Madeline was there too!

Happy Milla!

Daddy took Madeline and I into one of the smaller jump areas and we all did Ring Around the Rosie...

Midway through "All fall down"...

This is my favorite bounce house game!

See how entertaining daddy was for us!

Just one picture to prove mommy was there too...

I was so excited when I was spinning and saw Madeline spinning next to me...

Finally I braved the slide myself...

Look how fun my skirt is!

And then it was time for the cupcakes!

and some juice with Hudson...

How cute is Bella's hat!

Singing Happy Birthday...

First bite...

Mom took a different approach this time...no bib, no helping, no worrying. She just let me go at it...

"Are you sure I'm allowed to get messy"...

Look at all the parents fussing over their toddlers... mom just didn't have it in her...

"Look daddy... I'm messy!"

Showing off my fork skills...

I was definitely the messiest in the end... One dad said "now that's how you eat a cupcake"... amazingly I didn't get ANY on my shirt and everything was cleaned up with a couple bunch of baby wipes... Thanks Miss Sherilyn!

Thank you for having us Bella! It was a super fun birthday party and now all I can talk about is having my own in a couple of weeks! Let the countdown begin!!!

Counting to 5...

So unofficially I can count to 10. This all happened in the past week. For months I've had friends that could count and mom would try to coax me into learning and I would say no.

Mom's best guess is that school got me interested... because MAN am I interested now! For about a month I could count objects to 3 and then I would start counting them again... but now I can count to 10 and understand how to count objects (birds in a picture, etc)...

Trying to film said act however is difficult... Mom got me to count to 5 on camera today and then I said I was done... HA!

Early Birthday Present & Southlake Tree Lighting...

This morning mommy had a surprise...

Yesterday when we saw Kyle & his mommy Alexis at playgroup, Alexis gave mommy my birthday present and told her that I could open it whenever I wanted... since mom knows I'll be overwhelmed by presents in the coming weeks, she decided to let me open it early...

She also figures I probably need some practice on my opening skills...

This was my reaction when I saw what it was...

Time to get the rest of it unwrapped...

I finally asked daddy to help (you know how toy packaging is)...

It's an awesome Little People Fairy Treehouse with a swing... I played with it ALL morning and it was the last thing I played with before I went to bed tonight... Thank you Kyle & Alexis!

It was a busy day full of errands and mom getting her hair done...

After my nap we headed to dinner at Five Guys and then walked over to the Southlake Tree Lighting Ceremony... talk about perfect timing. We walked up at 6:25 and the lights were turned on at 6:30...

See Santa under the clock turning the lights on...

We headed over to Santa's village to watch him arrive...

I was so excited to see him!

Daddy's shoulders is still the best view around...

Look at their amazing Christmas tree!

Me and mommy...

This is an awesome family event. There was free kettle corn, funnel cakes, and hot chocolate!

Waiting patiently in line for kettle corn...

We found a spot to eat our Kettle Corn and watch the pony carriages...

So yummy!

Mom is always trying to get a good picture of me and daddy... She told me there was a pony on her head to get me to look at the camera...

Here come the ponies!

I really enjoyed waiving at them as they went by...

I kept telling mom I wanted to reach up and get a plane...

More waves...

and smiles...

Look at all the snowmen that people made...

Checking out my hat...

Watching another pony carriage (we are going to go back and ride for my birthday)...

And mom is going to find a parade to take me to...

We did find a choo choo to ride...

I loved it!

and since the line for the carriage was too long, daddy galloped with me on his shoulders...

What a fun day! Let the Christmas festivities begin!

Lucky 07 Swimdate & A Cute Outfit Flashback...

Mom is just amazed how pretty I look with my hair pulled back...

It's one of her favorite looks...

Since it was a rainy day...

and mom wouldn't let me go out and play...

We headed to a swim play date at Emler...

I hadn't been swimming since Great Wolf Lodge!

How neat is this little dolphin? He was definitely my favorite part of the playdate...

I was not too fond of swimming today... which didn't surprise mom. It had been a while and I was nervous... but it was great to see Keira, Adam and Kyle...

While there, one of mommy's friends recommended some new hair products for me... Look how beautiful it made my hair...

Ok are you ready for my diva going to dinner outfit??

I swear this vest dresses everything up!

Such a diva...

Head, shoulders, knees and toes...

Mom LOVES this one...

When we got home from dinner (where I was perfectly behaved) mom tried to get a picture of my shirt...

Because she wanted to do a flash back to this picture from Christmas last year... wow have I grown!

This picture has MAJOR significance... mom has been working on getting me to look at the camera and smile... it's SO hard to get me to cooperate. Mom asked me to sit down, look at her nose and say "cheese"...

The result is this which mom thinks is pretty darn cute! It's definitely a cheesy smile, but one mom can deal with...
