Thanksgiving Day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Sorry this post is a little late, but mom didn't take the laptop with her. Can you imagine how far she fell behind on all the blogs she reads???

This Thanksgiving we traveled to Houston to see lots of family! We stayed with Nana and Grandad and Mimi and Papa came up from Corpus as well. On Thursday we went out to Uncle Jerry & Aunt Kathy's house and everyone was there! Mom's Grandma Pat, Aunt Missy, & Uncle Andy were all there... so were mommy's cousins Lindsay & Greg. Greg even brought me some friends to play with, his kids Aaron and Lilah. Aunt Rinny & Uncle Michael drove up from Austin to spend the day with us. Oh and Daddy's parents came out to Uncle Jerry's house for the day.

My friend Emerson and I have started a Gymboree share program... thanks for lending me this super cute dress Emme!

Dad says this looks like an artistic portrait...

"Are you trying to take a picture of me mom?"

Ok I'll kind of smile for you...

I was a little overwhelmed when I first got there... luckily Maggie was there to protect me...

Did I mention it was HOT? Like REALLY hot! And the A/C wasn't working in part of the house. Mom decided it was time to take my pants off when I was watching football...

"Ahhh... this feels much better..."

When it was time to eat, mom stripped me down to just my shirt, diaper and my cute Thanksgiving bib...

"I'm ready for the grub..." (I loved the sweet potatoes, broccoli casserole, and rolls)

"This is great..."

"All done..." (this is my sign for all done now... I rub my hands together)

Ok time for some family pictures... it was REALLY hot so the pictures didn't turn out too great. (notice I changed my outfit? A true diva needs two outfits for Thanksgiving)...

Aunt Rin, Mom & me...

Mimi, Great-Grandma Pat, Mom & me...

Mimi, Mom, me & Aunt Rin...

Trying to get a family picture...

"I believe I can fly..."

"Yay..."

I love my daddy...

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...

Bakerella Strikes Again!

Post from Mom:

There are two posts today so make sure you keep reading...

Bakerella posted instructions for some super cute Turkey pops and I decided to give them a try since I don't have a Thanksgiving dinner to cook...

I did change a few things up...
  • I used Reeses Peanut Butter Whoopers for the heads instead of espresso beans
  • I used candy coated sunflower seeds (check your mall candy store) for the beaks
  • I used red fall leaves from the baking aisle for the wobbler
I'm super pleased with how they turned out and I'm thrilled that I already have cupcake pop orders. I've decided my price is $24 a dozen with a minimum order of a dozen.

5 Fat Turkies Are We...

All packaged up with a little bit of korker ribbon...

Here are Bakerella's original turkey pops...

I think I did ok (I just wish I was as good of a photographer!)...

Walking Videos...

Are you tired of seeing walking videos yet? Today I REALLY walked... no help from anyone or my magic remote control... When Ellen comes on tv I always dance... then mom thinks "man I should video tape this and send it in to Ellen and maybe she'll play it and bring Milla and I out to California and we could meet George Clooney"... by the time she's done with that crazy thought I've always stopped dancing and even though she re-cues the tivo back to the beginning of Ellen's theme song... I still won't dance again...

But today instead of just standing there looking at mom like she was crazy... I WALKED!

Oh and here are some cute pictures from today's car ride... I wanted a balloon SO bad at Walmart and the lady was so nice she even got me a pink one!

Walking & Pigtails...

So I'm finally warming up to the tree... I even helped mommy hang my ornament this morning. Mommy decided we should do a photo ornament of me every year...

"That's a pretty cool frame mommy"...

Mom decided it was time to try pigtails again... she's getting better with the little ponytail holders and I actually left them in!

Oh have I told yall how much I love facing forwards?

One of the reasons I love facing forwards is because I can make funny faces at mommy at the traffic lights... (sorry the picture is so blurry, the flash didn't go off)

Are you ready to see me looking like a toddler...

Are you sure you're ready???

Ok here it is...

So mommy bought me this "magic remote control"... for some reason when I hold this remote control... I can walk! Mom says that when she was my age she had two magic weeble wobbles, one for each hand and they helped her walk too...

Guess what I'm afraid of?

The Christmas tree! Mommy got a great deal on a new tree for us from her friend Carrie who is moving to San Diego... but it's SO big and scary! I'm petrified of it...

Save me...

I can't even bear to look at it...

After I went down for my afternoon nap, mommy and daddy got to work on decorating the monster... daddy goofed around with the decorations... silly daddy!

Then we went to dinner at Carraba's.

There was a big change when we got to the car... I graduated to a turned around seat! I LOVE IT! This was definitely the best part of my day... I smiled and giggled the entire way to dinner and home... it is SO much better!

Mom took a couple candid pics of me before we went in to eat...

Mom thinks this picture looks like Little Red Riding Hood, scared in the forest...

"Ok I'll look at the camera, but I'm not smiling..."

When we got home mom decided to try to introduce me to the tree again... it's still WAY too big! I just kept pointing at it...

Maggie isn't sure what to think either...

These are daddy's new favorite pictures of us...

The final tree! It really is beautiful mommy, hopefully I'll warm up to it soon.

Loving My Daddy & Leopard Print...

This morning daddy and I were hanging out and I crawled over to him and leaned up against him to cuddle... how sweet am I?

Mom decided it was a good mall day for us... she threw on a leopard onesie and amazingly enough I also have a leopard print fleece jacket! Amazing how that works!

It's still a little big...

"Can I hide in it?"

Mom couldn't get me to sit still on a background, so she decided to take me outside to take some pictures...

Mom loves this picture (ignore the ugly blue trashcan in the background)...

"Hey mom we should do more photo shoots outside..."

Natural light is my friend... A woman stopped me today at the mall and said I had beautiful coloring... thanks!

Mom decided today was a good day for me to ride in my first car... I didn't know what to think of it...

Still a little unsure...

Mommy's sorority sister Carole posted some pictures this morning of her son Hunter's destruction, so mom thought she'd share the mess I made today too...

Tonight we went to Outback to have some yummy grub... notice today I picked out a leopard hat to match my jacket...
