Booty Camp

First one picture from our travels home. We met Aunt Rinny & Cousin Grant in Austin to take some pictures for Papa & Grandma Kitty's 40th wedding anniversary. When the pictures arrive at their house we'll post the official pictures. I was SO excited to see Grant! The whole way to Austin I kept saying I was going to push his stroller and hold him and walk with him and ride the carousel. It was super cute...

after a recovery day full of laundry & playing with all my toys at home mom told me a story. She told me about the Diaper Fairy. You see the Diaper Fairy comes and takes all your diapers to give to babies (I asked that mine go to cousin Grant) and she leaves you a potty & panties & prizes! How fun is that?

Last night I loaded up all my diapers (except my overnights we are going to wait a while to night/nap train) & this morning I found this...

She even left me fairy wings! I really wanted to meet her and I told mommy that I heard her say my name in the middle of the night. All day I asked if I could give her a high five, so we might be making a phone call to the Potty Fairy soon!

My last picture in a diaper! YAY!

I was so excited to find my presents and all the fairy dust too...

I checked everything out (I even got a potty for the car)...

and then I put on my first pair of panties and my Fairy Booty Camp shirt she left me...

Don't I look grown up in panties?

I mean really grown up!

The morning was LONG... I had 2 accidents and no successes, but I started to understand the concept a little better...

along the way we had lots of fun...

we played Elephun...

and dress up...

After naptime I had another surprise... a Baby Alive that pees!

She helped a lot! She sat on one potty and I sat on the other and I got to see how it all works...

I even showed her how to wash her hands...

Isn't she cute?

As we waited for me to need to go I learned a new skill... I mastered my scooter...

We spent lots of time being silly while we worked on my new skill...

and raspberry lemonade finally seemed to be what did the trick!

It was an exhausting day and I almost fell asleep in my swing...

But one last pee got me up to 5 pees in the potty which earned me a chocolate cupcake! YAY!

Mommy and daddy are SO proud of my progress today and they were dancing up a storm the first time my princess potty started playing music! I will be 2 1/2 in a week so we are hoping I will be completely potty trained by then.

We are housebound for 2 more days as we continue to potty train. Wish us all luck since my usual question when I wake up is "where are going mommy"... it's going to be a long couple of days!

Hotel Fun...

Keep reading for our 2nd day at Sea World adventures...

Mom also had some videos she wanted to share. One of the things we took on the trip was my little Laugh & Learn Puppy that Nana and Pop Pop gave me when I was a baby... this thing is STILL entertaining!

I was also having a great time naming off all of my friends...

more puppy fun...

Sea World Day 2 (videos added)

Sorry for the picture delay. We came home to 2 weeks worth of laundry and ironing and a goal of spending Memorial Day weekend potty training...

So here are the pictures from our second day at Sea World...

Mom made me a 2nd outfit...

She's figured this shorts pattern out...

I told Shamu bye-bye before we headed out...

We believe Sea World is a 2 day adventure... there's just WAY too much to see!

We started with the alligators... do you see him?

Yep he was that close to us!!!

and yes, mommy did freak a little that I was this close!

We found a ride I could ride (it was the LONGEST ride ever!!!)...

Every time it would stop we would swing side to side...

Happy girl! Ready to see penguins!

I love the penguins and puffins...

Here's a little video, mom could seriously spend the day watching them...

and mom and dad planned it so we could go to the encounter! Look how cute he is!

The keeper talked about everything the penguin does (he's an animal ambassador)...

I was captivated...

Dad showed me how to read the map and I was able to point out where Shamu's stadium was every time... I was ready to go see him!

Back to watching penguins...

Bye Bye Penguin!

Since I met the height requirements daddy and I decided to do the log chute. It was scary I'm not going to lie...

After the first drop I told daddy "don't do that again" and I still had 3 more to go! But man have I talked about it! I've been talking about the water slide for days now!

We headed to watch a little Shamu (and snuck out early to get lunch... truly the best idea ever)...

Then we went to watch the ski show (which we've never watched). It was AWESOME!

Next it was time for the alligator encounter...

I shook his hand...

and petted his belly...

I even got to help feed the big guys!

Next it was time to go see Baby Beluga...

This show is SO dramatic and I don't do drama well, I didn't last long...

We watched from the back for a few minutes but it was HOT...

So we headed over to Shamu's Happy Harbor to cool off...

SO fun!

I got completely cooled off...

and splashed...

I jumped...

and crawled...

and stuck my head in the water (ha!)...

Look how much fun I had!

It was busy, but it was SO fun!

The only thing that could get me to leave the water area... ice cream!

Our tip of the day: We saw a family when we were coming into the park using a stroller as a tripod and the timer on their camera... seriously we've never thought of this? It was SO simple! Mom is always worried someone is going to run off with her camera so this is a fantastic solution.

We got to see the stingrays getting fed...

and checked out the eels again...

I asked daddy if mommy and I could feed the dolphins since we weren't brave enough the first day...

That was fun!

My prize for the day: A Shamu puppet... I love him!

Mom thought this was funny...

Exhausted, hot, but SO happy!

One of my favorite things during the trip was pushing the button for the elevator... and I loved playing the game of which elevator was going to come...

After a nice little nap we headed to The Cove...

It's a hippie fish taco/gourmet burger place with a great playground!

I got to play the entire time...

I even went down both of the big slides...

and ate over the fence while mommy and daddy enjoyed their burgers...

What a fun day!
