3rd Post Today: Preschool Music Performance...

Today was a sad day for mommy...

It was the day she realized that all of my end of the school year activities are beginning.  Not only is that sad because we LOVE Miss Michelle and will miss her like crazy.  But, it's also sad because the year went SOO quickly and mom realizes that after just two more short school years I will go to big kid school where it will go even quicker.

All I cared about this morning was singing...

Mom was already in the sanctuary when we came over to perform...

So she came out for a hug and a kiss and to wish me good luck...

First, the little ones performed.  It's hard for mom to believe I was that little last year...

Then it was our turn...

All the videos are at the bottom of the page, we did a great job!

After each class performed we all performed 3 songs together...

Cheese!

and a bow...

Are you proud of me mommy?  Miss Donna had promised us candy and as soon as I was done I said "candy"... HA!

We marched in to "Ants Go Marching"...

Then my class performed "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing"...

Then we performed some songs together...

Mom is SO proud of how well I did at the music show and she is feeling MUCH more optimistic about my dance recital in a few weeks.  Maybe I will actually perform!

and one more video mom found on the camera... this is me opening my Easter basket...

Beautiful Day for the Zoo...

So if you know mommy well... then you know if it's beautiful outside and we have nothing planned, we head to the zoo.  Most of the time it works out fine, but this beautiful 1/2 price Wednesday there were 96 school buses at the zoo and mom seriously considered turning around...

Since we have season passes, mom figured we would spend an hour and not worry about what we didn't see...

Luckily once you got through the front crowds, it wasn't that bad...

and I was happy to be with my friends the animals...

When we left at the end of the day I said "mommy thank you so much for bringing me to the zoo today"... HA!

It was  pretty normal trip...

See the tiger?

The only difference?  Well the zoo has dinosaurs right now...

and most of the penguins have been moved outside...

This one and I talked...

We visited the alligator...

and ate lunch with the bears...

we rode the carousel...

waited for the train...

rode back to the front...

The longhorn has two new cow friends...

We visited more dinosaurs...

and the modern day dinosaurs...

I even went to pet a red snake...

Rahhhrrr.... BIG dinosaurs...

This one was my favorite...

It was a fun day at the zoo, no matter how crazy busy it was.  We had a great day!

Ballet & Bug Day at School...

Monday morning we had ballet... Easter must have worn me out because mommy had to wake me up for ballet and I was snoring HARD!

Important that I make it to class right now though since our recital is just a few weeks away...

I'm getting VERY excited!

Tuesday was our bug hunt day at school... we went around the playground looking for bugs...

So I wore a butterfly shirt...

Mom snuck a picture of me during the afternoon program...

She thinks I look SO big in this picture... like kindergarten big...

Since it was a BEAUTIFUL day and we didn't have time for a nap we headed to the park to play...

and play...

and play... we spent an hour and a half there and I did just about everything myself.  I've just started going up to kids and asking them to play.  I don't like when they say no, it makes me VERY sad...

The quintessential playground picture...

Walking the tight rope...

When I got home daddy was working on the weeds, so I helped...

Which I thought was super fun!
