Nutcracker 2012...

After 9 weeks of rehearsal it was finally time for Nutcracker!  I have been asking to do the Nutcracker since I saw it last year.  Halfway through the show I started talking about wanting to be Clara and I have not really let up since.  Mom offered me a few activities for fall and I always chose doing Nutcracker over anything else.

Here I am ready for dress rehearsal (the elf is mommy's elf from when she was a kid)...

Mommy wasn't able to videotape during the show, but here is a video of dress rehearsal.  I am the 2nd little one from the right.

Ready for the show!

The 5 little bakers... Milla, Connoly, Ava, Sydney & Piper...

I really enjoyed dancing with Piper, we've never been in the same dance class...

Mom was the baker stage mom so she got lots of pictures!

We played Ring Around the Rosie to pass time...

and finally it was time for hats!

Here's mom as a baker in the Nutcracker at the same age... funny huh?

Me and Piper...

All the bakers with hats...

and VERY red lipstick!

Ready to go on stage!

Papa Don got great pictures of us on stage...

and finally it was time to come out for finale...

Mom had NO idea we were participating in finale... you know I would have had a skirt at least if she had known!

After the show I went to find my fan club...

and get my prizes...

the thing I wanted the most was a baker Nutcracker...

I love him!

Bella came to see the show, I was so excited to see her!

Papa Don & Grandma Kitty...

Nana...

My little family...

It was LATE when the show was over so mom and I headed to Krispy Kreme to celebrate...

Thanksgiving Weekend

We started the weekend with a playdate with my new friend Sophie...

She had never been to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens...

Maggie came too!

Aren't we cute?  She's in my ballet class & my theater class.  They moved here from New York City about 6 weeks ago...

Maggie loved the fountains!

She loves our playdates...

Thursday it was finally time for Thanksgiving...

Grandma Kitty & Papa Don came into town...

Mom did all the cooking...

and we had a feast!  Nana and daddy were there too... they just didn't jump in the pictures...

Yum!

I even did some dancing with Papa Don... which I loved!

Friday morning Sprinkles arrived!

and she brought me a breakfast treat...

I was SUPER excited!

We also put up our Christmas tree that day...

It's always so neat to unwrap all the ornaments...

and find the perfect spot for each one...

See the Mabel ornament checking out the Maggie princess ornament...

We had lots of fun!

I even sat and enjoyed the Christmas tree before bed...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
