Mom gave me a few options on where we should spend our official first day of summer break...
After a little singing...
and some wild hair...
I choose Grapevine Mills Mall...
I even got to ride the train...
Tuesday morning we headed out to a trial gymnastics class...
We love Little Gym, but sometimes it's fun to mix it up so we are doing 3 different trial classes and if I find one I love, I might switch for a little while...
I really loved my snazzy outfit...
My first glimpse at the gym...
I was in a 3-4 year old class and we warmed up with the 5 year olds... I was TINY! The only other 3 year old girl in my class is already doing REAL cartwheels... I was amazed!
We had to run around the mat for warm up (which mom remembers doing OH so well!)...
Working on our floor exercises...
Handstands...
and finally the beam... this was my only fall the whole time and I cried. Coach John just patted my back and told me I'd be ok and I was. I didn't even go to mom (a big problem at Little Gym)...
When I took gymnastics at ASI I would NEVER swing on the rope. It drove mom crazy. So she was SHOCKED when I did it! I wouldn't let go so Coach John took me off the rope and dropped me into the pit. It was SO fun!
Tuesday night mom took Maggie to dog training and ended up in a freak storm that resulted in lots of tornadoes and hail. She took cover in the Southlake Town Square parking lot with 1/2 of Southlake. It's a great safe spot. Maggie was VERY stressed out over it!
Wednesday we had a special playdate with Addi & Miss Christi... we miss them now that Miss Christi teaches preschool...
We headed back to Grapevine Mills mall & went to Legoland.
Mom has been waiting for the day I would go with someone else to the potty when she is around (so she can do drop off playdates or I can go with a friend somewhere fun) and today I did it! I went with Miss Christi. YAY! I know this is silly, but it's something I have to get comfortable with before mom feels I can go on a playdate without her...
We rode the carousel all together...
Milla, Addi & Gracie (Addi's friend that Miss Christi was babysitting)...
Finally we headed to Legoland...
It's a very cool place with lots of fun things for kids to explore... including a princess room...
a duplo area...
a toddler animal area (so fun)...
Back to the princess room...
There's an awesome mini village with all the DFW landmarks remade in legos... including the Ballpark at Arlington...
downtown Dallas...
Mom's old office building Thanksgiving Tower... This was her favorite job and seeing her old building put a smile on her face...
after my first 4d movie (I watched 2 of them) and a few other fun things we headed to Build A Bear...
Where I made Charlie (my 2nd stuffed animal named Charlie lately... coincidence that Miss Michelle's boyfriend's name is Charlie? Mom doesn't think so!)...
