We started Friday morning off with some photos...
Because mom just loves this shirt she made me... it screams spring (though it's almost summer)...
Oh how mom loves this one...
Then we headed to the Mom's League meeting...
This was the first Mom's League meeting in 3 years that I didn't cry... didn't fuss and when mom came back in it was obvious I had not shed a tear...
I was also in the middle of the action, which was crazy because I've deemed all boys "rough" and yet it was a room full of boys and Sophia and I was still having a ball!
Saturday morning we headed out to meet up with K-9 Direction (the group we saw at Kellerfest last weekend) to see if Maggie could benefit from their style of training...
I would LOVe for her to be better trained so she could go everywhere with me...
The class was way too busy to take pictures of, but Maggie did great and showed improvement in SUCH a short amount of time. We are joining the class and look forward to what we can get from the private lessons...
Saturday night we headed out for Mother's Day Dinner... We hadn't gone to a hibachi restaurant as a family in a really long time so we decided to give it a try...
I did REALLY well, I didn't like the "fire" part, but the chef told me when it was coming so I could cover my eyes and I LOVED the food!
Afterward, we headed to get some ice cream... yum!
For Mother's Day mommy said she wanted to go to the zoo (silly mommy)...
So to the zoo we went! We got one of the last parking spots before it goes to overflow parking...
But there were lots of animals to see...
and our timing everywhere was pretty good, we didn't have to wait long anywhere...
It was HOT so our favorite place for the day was the insect exhibit...
It's cold and dark in there and I've been learning about bugs at school...
Ahh ballet & bugs...
I love taking Daddy to the zoo!
There is a great tunnel in there that occupied me most of the time...
Then we headed to see the alligator...
Mom gave me a high five for this shot...
Normally the bears are napping while are there but today one of them decided to take a swim...
He went to the waterfall and took a shower and a drink, it was super cute!
Finally it was time to ride the train...
with my friendly dinosaur (I call him a tugosaurus)...
A final stop in MOLA...
and a couple of dinosaurs (this is the only one I'm afraid of)...
and finally we headed home with a new stuffed animal dinosaur "Charlie". I've become a stuffed animal hoarder!
Yesterday at ToysrUs I saw a 4 pack of smurfs and said "I really want those"... mom explained we had daddy's smurf collection at home that she would help me located, but that we weren't spending $20 on 4 smurfs...
Here is daddy's collection from his childhood...
Crazy huh?
And our very on Azreal...
Happy Mother's Day everyone! Mommy got a new sewing machine and of course some help with laundry! HA!
