Sea Life & A Playdate with Ava...

Monday morning we headed to the new aquarium in Grapevine "Sea Life"...

I was very excited to go see the fish...

Mom has had this dress in my closet for almost 18 months waiting for us to go to an aquarium...

she felt like it was almost a little babyish... but I loved it!

Nervous in the beginning... they put us in a very small room to tell us the rules of the aquarium...

Definitely the coolest part...

Ok actually this is the coolest part, but it's part of the same tank.  When you get upstairs there is a room where you are right above the tanks and you can look down on the sharks...

We spent A LOT of time in that room... it's quiet and dark and if you stay really still something good will swim right under you...

We finally made it to the play area and touch and feel stuff...

"Look at how big I am mommy"...

We finally made it back to the stingray area (it was too crowded the first time)...

There was a great kid's cave to explore...

and lots of stingrays!

I opted out of a fish prize and decided to go make a Build A Bear...

Her name is Millie...

We took Millie to ride the carousel...

Mom loves this picture... it's so bright and fun...

On our way home mommy got a message from our new neighbor asking if we wanted to play... we said YES!

Ava lives 3 houses away and was born the same month I was...

This is her precious baby sister Finley... I was SO good with her.  I brought her blankies and toys the whole time...

We did LOTS of jumping...

and sliding...

and played hairdresser...

We even dressed up like princesses and jumped some more...
