Saturday morning the weather was beautiful and I was finally feeling 100% so we headed to the Fort Worth Stockshow...
This is our 3rd year... here I am last year...
and the year before...
Mom had to laugh because my hat didn't fit (it's sized 3 to 5 years)...
But I wanted to at least wear it for the pictures...
Mom made my shirt and says it's the hardest applique she's done... this little cowgirl had a lot of detail!
We always start with the animal barns... this time it was the goats...
and you have to take a picture with this sign...
It's just the perfect backdrop...
We headed in to watch some ponies who were winning awards...
and then we headed to the fair... I've been begging to ride a ferris wheel, but when we got to it I kept saying "I don't want to ride it"... it was one of those times where mom insisted I do it and I'm so glad she did! I had a blast!
and you get to see everything!

The teacups! Another ride I talk about all the time, I even "pretend" to ride them at home on my sit and spin...

I took this job very seriously!
We headed back in to watch the youth ranch hand competition...
It was a nail biter!
They had to take their horses through all of these obstacles (which the horse had never done before) and the kids did great!
We walked by the beautiful Gypsy horses...
headed back to the midway...
I got to ride a pony (though mom and dad think it was actually a mule)...
and then I got to pick 3 more rides... I picked the boat...
the wagon...
and the dragon (which was a little scary)...
Here's where I was getting nervous...

We stopped by the children's barn and it was BUSY!
But I got to see some chicks...
and ducks...
Before I lost mom in the crowd (she could see me but I couldn't find her) and mom's claustrophobia kicked in...
Totally tuckered out! I was in bed asleep by 6:45pm on a Saturday night!
