Morning Trip to the Park

Daddy announced this morning that it was only 74 degrees outside... mom threw on some clothes, put me in a play outfit and we went to the park! We were the first ones there!!! I got to slide down the slide (with mom), swing, and feed the ducks...

The swing is definitely my favorite!

Weeeeeeeeee.......

Hi Mommy....

I'm staring to the side alot in these pictures because there was a cute little boy laughing and having fun next to me... I couldn't keep my eyes off of him... he cried when his mommy made him leave the park... I felt sorry for him.

Showing off my chipmunk cheeks...

And my smirk...

Mommy... it's BRIGHT out here... why did you forget my sunglasses?

I asked mommy if we could go down this slide (the big one)... she said we could when daddy goes to the park with us next (she was nervous)...

We did go down this one twice... it was FUN! Can I take a nap right here?

Mommy helped me ride the elephant and the rocket ship...

Vrooom... vrooom...

Boys Ranch also has a GREAT duck pond... mom forgot the bread... BUT they loved my gerber puffs!

Me enjoying the pond...

A Mum-Mum snack...

Captured on film... the first time I've EVER sat forward in my stroller... look out mom...

Mom why am I sitting on this disgusting bridge????

I'm SO embarrassed...

The rest of the day went quickly... I took a nap, we got groceries and ran errands and we found out that Grandma Kitty is in the hospital. Lots and lots of hugs and baby kisses to you Grandma Kitty... we love you SOOOO much!

Day 1 of Designing my Playroom & My cat Callie...

Mom and dad have been talking about the best use of space in the house (especially since my toys keep getting BIGGER AND BIGGER) and my room seems to be shrinking a little bit...

SO Friday night, mom convinced dad that they should turn the guest bedroom (which is rarely used) into my PLAYROOM! Dad cleared everything out yesterday and mom started working on decorating today...

There's still LOTS of work to be done... dad is installing a tv on a shelf for me to watch my Baby Einstein DVDs and mommy is on the lookout for a big green area rug to look like grass. Grandma Kitty has donated some money to the decorating effort (thanks Grandma!) and mom is SO excited for me to have more space! Especially since we all know I will be crawling soon! Oh and my giraffe rocker will be here next week... YAY!!!!!

My playroom theme is "Milla's Garden"...

My exersaucer is PERFECT in here because it's garden themed too. I fit quite perfectly in the beanbag (we'll take pictures tomorrow)...

Mommy put the alphabet around the window so I can get familiar with the letters... See my fairy princess made it in the room too.

An old chair of mom's for us to read books in and lots of soft storage containers to store toys in.

The closet door has my numbers on it and there's a big container full of soft toys for me to go through... including two new fun balls!

Mommy got herself a chair too... she spends SO much time on the floor with me now that her back is bothering her.

Tonight after my bath we found Callie the Cat napping in my CRIB! Mom decided to finally let me do what I've always wanted to do...

PULL CALLIE'S TAIL! Mom was ready to grab me if Callie got mad... she was ok with it, but hopefully it'll teach her a lesson... stay out of my crib CAT!

Here's Callie playing with my toys after I went to sleep... I guess she got the last laugh...

Mommy is pretty sure that my top teeth are coming in and REALLY bothering me... should make for a long week! After 2 nights of REALLY putting mommy and daddy through the ringer when trying to put me to bed, tonight I went back to my old schedule of going to sleep at 7:15... yay for me! (by the way... don't tell on me... I'm blogging by the light of my night light... hopefully mom doesn't see me)... shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

Dinner at Razzoos

So mommy and daddy had this great idea to take me to Razzoos tonight. It's right by the house and it's a very fun and stimulating environment (also loud enough to cover if I fuss or get excited)... I had my morning and afternoon nap and mom had LOTS of snacks to entertain me so we thought it would be a fun trip...

Everything was fine at first... they have a great pond and mommy wanted to take some pictures...

Mommy says I look like one of her Madame Alexander Dolls in this picture...

We sat down at the table and I had some gerber puffs...

and mom even brought me an apple nutrigrain bar... which I LOVED!

Here I am waving at daddy (I'm getting much better at waving)...

I even posed for a nutrigrain picture...

Then...

Well then all HECK broke loose!!!

Some idiots decided that the way to get everyone's attention in the restaurant to celebrate a birthday is to hit pots and pans together and scream at the top of their lungs....

Mommy tried to make it fun...

Mommy clapped her hands and smiled at me...

But I cried... and cried... and by the time mom realized I was not going to calm down and she picked me up out of my highchair...

I had started hyperventilating...

I was SO scared! Who do these idiots think they are??? Doing that right next to a baby's table without warning... I mean I am the Princess Baby! Grrrr....

Mom is boycotting Razzoos and considering writing them a letter that they need to warn mommies before that happens... we could have easily strolled outside for a minute... instead I was a wreck!

The next picture is proof that I survived the ordeal... although it's the first time I've ever been photographed truly MAD! Darn you Razzoos!

Mom says my expression in this picture is a preview of my future angsty preteen pose...

My Munchkin Friends...

It's the fourth Friday of June... that means it's Munchkin Playgroup Day!!!

Mom is in love with the By the Seashore line from Gymboree... I have two outfits from this line now and of course the matching bib and socks...

I know... my feet look big... but they need to get bigger so I can WALK!

Isn't my outfit cute?

Silly picture of me...

Ahh the tongue returns!!!

This was my favorite toy of the day... it's a Go & Grow Giraffe... mom is buying me one tomorrow... if you face one way it's a chair and the other way it's a rocker... I liked the rocker side and I was sitting up SO well on it!

My friends Kat and Corbin came to playgroup with us today... this was their first time to the Munchkin's playgroup... it was great to have Corbin there because we're the same age and the other kids are much older... today was the first day I could sit with Corbin and play... it was SO much fun!

Mommy... do you see me sitting here all by myself????

We were trying to hold hands...

Here's everyone at playgroup playing together nicely on the floor... Corbin... Maddison... Will and me... :) And of course some of the mommies... Kat and Blake.

I love Will... remember I went to his birthday party last month? I really wanted to play his guitar, but mommy just gave me a stinkin bird...

This was my second favorite toy... perfect for practicing my lunging maneuvers... (also notice how much hair I've gotten on the sides of my hair now)...

Here's playgroup today... we were missing a few munchkins...

Here's another fun animal to ride... a big, soft horsey... hint... hint to the grandparents... I think one like this would be great for my birthday....

Giddy Up Horsey!!!

Mom can I have a horsey?

Please....

This sitting up thing is GREAT! You get to play with all the really fun toys... like balls!

After we left playgroup, we went to the mall and shared a pretzel... this is my new favorite treat!

When we got home, mommy gave me my new toy... my cookie jar! Ok Emerson this toy is as cool as you said it was! I love it! I even managed to get a few cookies inside the jar!!! So fun!

After dinner and my bath... daddy read "Daddy Hugs" to me... it was one of my Father's Day presents to him... I'm figuring out the turning the page thing (mainly because I want to chew on it)...

This page was about finger hugs and if you look closely you'll see daddy and I are "finger hugging"... I love my daddy!
