UNT Homecoming

Today was a very special day! I know it was TX/OU weekend, but it was also UNT's Homecoming. That's where mommy went to college. Her Kappa chapter is celebrating 20 years since they became a chapter and they had a huge brunch to celebrate.

So this morning we headed to Denton...

How cute is my fur vest? I will be wearing it a lot this winter...

It's super trendy...

I have started playing shy sometimes... this morning it was to Camen...

A couple of pictures with mommy...

Go Mean Green!

"Ok dad can we get in the car now?"

This is the cute shirt mommy made me... I even had a matching UNT bow...

We had a nice brunch and mom was having so much fun she forgot to take pictures. Daddy was nice enough to walk me around outside though...

Mommy tried to take a group picture of girls she was in the chapter with. Everyone in the picture pledged in 94, 95 (with mommy), or 96. She has great memories with all of these girls!

I found sand to play with...

Mom wanted a picture with her sorority letters...

She dreams of me being a Kappa (but honestly, not at North Texas)...

Next we headed over to have a little picnic...

We found a shady spot outside of the language building and ate our sandwiches...

and I got to RUN!

After lunch we headed to the parade...

We found a spot right at the beginning of the parade... which means you get the most candy!

I kept telling the band to march... I was excited when they started...

Yum lollipop!

This is Sloan, she was my buddy for the parade...

The ponies were definitely my favorite part...

and I loved the Kappa float...

I even got beads...

It was a long morning and I was tired so I told mom and dad I was done (no seriously I did... "Milla done... Milla go bye bye")... so we headed back to the car...

Since I napped till 5:30 pm, it was time to go to dinner and then burn energy at the mall...

Nothing like Saturday night in the play area...

Then I requested the carousel... "Milla carousel"...

Daddy rode too...

What a fun day!
