The Rest of the Weekend...

I was so excited to find out that Papa and Grandma Kitty were babysitting me on Saturday night! I had a list of things to do with them, like have Papa read me a book...

and play peek-a-boo...

Unfortunately, I went to bed before mommy and daddy even left the house...

They headed out to a date night dinner at Fireside Pies and then to their friend Jim's going away party...

All dressed up...

Jim is headed to Sweden for a Master's program for 10 months... we will miss him tons!

Mom conspired with her friend Leia to have 1/2 the cake be a birthday cake for daddy...

and the other half was for Jim...

Here's Jim and his wonderful wife Leia...

Mommy is so glad that Leia is staying here while Jim is away... Leia moved away when mommy was pregnant with me and they have missed hanging out... we look forward to entertaining her while Jim is gone...

Daddy blowing out the candles and Jim stabbing the cake...

Mommy was deemed cake cutter for the evening...

They even got to see their friend Nicole perform...

This morning daddy decided it was time for the Pickle Princess shoot... he's hoping that Best Maid will be able to use a few of these pictures for their office...

Drumming on the container...

Trying to lift it...

Mom's favorite shot of the day...

Aren't I a cute farmer? Mom's thinking I need some more overalls...

We headed outside for some wagon shots...

and then I got to pull the wagon...

"Is this what you do at work daddy?"

Finally, I got to try one...

Not bad...

After the photoshoot, a pickle explosion (one of the jars broke), and a new outfit... Papa and Grandma Kitty came over to say goodbye...

Daddy of course, was there too...

I gave hugs to everyone...

Then it was time for our pictures to remember the weekend...

I love you Papa and Grandma Kitty... in fact I started saying "love you" today right as yall were leaving!

Last August...

I went to the window and said "Papa, Papa" as he loaded his car... Mommy cried...

So we went outside for one final goodbye and a high five...

Tonight I helped mom with the laundry and LOVED it! I filled the laundry baskets, helped her put it in the washer, helped her transfer it to the dyer and helped with all three loads!

Throwing daddy's dirty socks in...

Amazingly, I seem to know who's clothes are who's and always said "mommy" to something flowery and "daddy" to daddy's striped shirts...

Aunt Nancy Kay in SA cried too. I'm so glad you enjoyed your Papa, my brother Don.
