a little better... (yes I'm still growing my bangs out)...
This morning mommy drove to Austin to attend Aunt Rinny's baby shower, so daddy was in charge! Yippee! We headed to Grapevine Mills Mall and played at the Choo Choo Station, rode the carousel, and ate at Chili's...
Daddy was left the little camera so the pictures aren't that great...
But he did get one of the two of us, proving he survived his day in charge...
We also went into Rainforest Cafe and looked at the fishies...
All in all it was a great day, I took a 3 hour nap, didn't fuss to much and enjoyed riding in daddy's truck jamming out to music with him...
Meanwhile, mommy was enjoying a girl's day...
Here is mommy, her grandma Pat, her Aunt Melissa, and her sister Rinny...
Once they arrived at the shower they met up with mommy's aunt Kathy and cousin Lindsay (Grandma Kitty couldn't make it, she wasn't feeling well)...
Here is our present to Grant... it's his bouncy seat full of goodies, newborn essentials and a monogrammed robe...
Aunt Lindsay and mommy spent most of the shower catching up...
Mommy is so excited that she is going to be an Aunt!
Can you believe this was taken at mommy's shower almost 2 years ago... (poor mommy was on bedrest for pre-eclampsia when she had her shower, but she was allowed to attend)...
Aunt Rinny is an adorable prego! She is due October 4th with baby Grant and is all belly!
Mom also enjoyed some time with her grandma Pat, she never gets enough pictures of the two of them together (Grandma Pat fusses over them), but she wanted to capture the day...
After the shower mom raced home to hang out with me before bedtime (6 1/2 hours on the road today). It was the longest she has ever spent away from me and I greeted her with a huge bear hug! I can't wait to meet my cousin Grant!!
