Mom promises... she didn't make me sleep in the pack and play last night... but I was pretend napping in it this morning...
"Say cheese mommy..." (notice my cupcake shirt... mom decided that this week should be cupcake week since my birthday is on Sunday)...
She even made me a super cute new bow...
We headed to ASI to burn off some toddler steam... mommy isn't feeling 100% so she was glad to have someone entertain me...
I still consider the pit (and dancing) to be the best parts...
Lately I have taken a few pictures where I look 4 instead of 2... this is definitely one of them...
Running down the tumble track...
Sliding...
Doing my backwards roll...
after I did the rotation twice I snuck over to the bars...
Mom let me because it's always a good photo op...
She thinks it's hilarious that I cross my legs...
Tada!
One word of caution... don't say the word "party" to me this week... I keep thinking my party should be today (or every day for that matter) and I get really excited when we get in the car thinking we are going... today I told mom when the light turned green... "ok go mommy drive"...

Weekend Wrap-up & Christmas Tree...
First a few pictures from yesterday to get us all caught up...
Guess what it's time for?
Christmas shirts! this one says "Dear Santa... All I want is a baby doll, teddy bear, 3 cupcakes and a unicorn"...
I spent the morning playing with my birthday balloons...
They were half deflated so I was able to throw them in the air...
What do you mean I have to ride in the car for 5 hours again today? Oh man!
But before we left we had to take a picture in front of Nana and Pop Pops big tree...
Once we got home I showed mom and dad how much I would love to have a pack and play...
"Oh no!"
You don't really think I would stay in a pack and play if I had one do you?
Fast forward to today... Our morning was boring and then I took a nice long nap...
When I woke up there was a surprise...
A Christmas Tree!
Quite the opposite reaction from last year...
Callie made herself at home...
and I wanted to sit by the tree and "watch" it...
Maggie showed me it was ok to touch the tree...
and then I was willing (something I NEVER did last year)...
Artsy shot...
So excited to see all the decorations!
But before we could decorate the tree mom had some chocolate cookies for me to snack on...
Let the decorating begin! Mom really though I would help with one or two ornaments and loose interest...
I was captivated from the first ball...
I figured out how to hang them...
and loved the ballerina...
Proof that mom was helping me decorate...
Sitting in front of my decorated tree...
I helped dad hang some snowflakes up high...
and we hung my Abby stocking on my door...
I wore the garland beads as a necklace the entire time...
Daddy helped me add the finishing touches...
and here is the final product... It's our last Christmas in this house. This tree is SO big in our house, but hopefully it will fit in a little more with our tall ceilings in the new house.
Now let the birthday week festivities begin!

Family Birthday Party!!! 11.27.09
Mom & I took the day off from blogging yesterday... so we'll be playing catch-up over the next couple of days.
Friday morning was my family birthday party. This picture is blurry, but it shows how excited I was when mom said "party"...
I took way too many pictures on Thursday and by Friday I was DONE!
Trying to get a picture just like last year...
Pretty close...
Blowing out my candles...
First, I enjoyed some cake...
Then they brought out the ice cream...
A little of both...
some pictures with the grandparents... Papa...
Nana...
Pop Pop...
I definitely preferred the ice cream to the cake...
Ice cream beard!
It was SO good!
Maggie even got to celebrate...
After I recovered from my sugar high we took a few family pictures...
Grandma Kitty, Papa & me...
Papa teasing me...
Pop Pop, me and Nana...
Then it was time to open presents... Look how proper I was when Grandma Kitty showed me my first present...
It was a beautiful cupcake necklace! I wore it until naptime and then begged to wear it to bed but mom was worried it might get tangled...
The also got me my very own digital camera! You will be seeing me posting pictures on the blog shortly...
I knew exactly what to do with it...
and I was SO excited to be able to "look at the babies" on my own camera...
Next came some lacing cards (one of my friend Emerson's favorite things)...
and some great mommy gear... A swing, pack and play and stroller...
Thank you Papa and Grandma Kitty for those wonderful presents! They are amazing!
Next came my present from Pop Pop and Nana...
A minivan...
and a BEAUTIFUL dollhouse!
I haven't stopped playing with it since I got it... I can't wait to furnish all the rooms and get all the accessories!
After presents it was time for Grandma Kitty & Papa to head back to Corpus...
So to distract me we took baby Coco (sorry Brooklyn I stole your baby's name) on a walk...
Nana came with me...
When we came in for the walk I said "All done, go night night" and headed back to my room for a 3 hour nap...
When I woke up... I was all smiles!
Getting daddy hugs...
Snacking in the big blue chair...
Since we had been home all day we decided to take the babies for another walk, Lulu & Coco really enjoyed it...
And then we explored Pop Pop's "jungle"...
He has beautiful flowers and bushes out there...
Quick family pic...
When we came in Stuart Little 2 was on and it held my attention until bedtime...
Thank you for an amazing birthday party my sweet grandparents! It is such a special treat to spend time with all of you together!
