We had an errand running day today... but one of those errands was to Grapevine Mills Mall and mom let me ride the carousel...
I didn't need her help at all this time!
I took the ride very seriously...
but finally cracked a smile...
watching the ceiling go round and round...
I sure have grown up a lot since last summer!

Tumbling, Art & Music... Oh My!
Mom has decided to feed me breakfast at the Hurst Recreation Center. I really love to watch the kids play ping pong and climb on the picnic table...
Going up...
Practicing my "tada"...
See the fun girl playing ping pong? She rolled the ball with me too!
Finally it was time for tumbling...
Working on my toe dips...
I'm finally officially a monkey...
Watch me in action...
Peek-a-boo!
My teacher cheering me on after a backwards roll...
This afternoon we headed back for Art & Music...
Mommy got a big chair out for her to sit in and climbed right up into it and pushed her out of it...
Mommy quickly realized that in that chair I could actually see what I was doing, so she let me stay in it...
Getting messy... we were making fireworks...
Playing the triangle during music...
We made 4th of July visors during music...
Finally a hat I can wear with my pigtails!
Shaking the tambourine...
When I got home I demanded to put on my pool shoes and go outside... so we decided some baby pool time was in order...
Maggie got sprayed down with the hose...
daddy showed me how to use the hose...
Which is TONS of toddler fun!
I had a blast! See those stairs behind me? Those are mommy's nemesis... anyone have a suggestion for a barrier at the bottom that wouldn't be permanent? I fell down all of them today... no bumps or bruises but it definitely took a year off of mommy's life...
Tomorrow mommy is going to buy me a sprinkler...
I helped Maggie get a drink...
Thanks daddy for playing outside with me! I know you were melting, but it sure was fun!

Heritage Water Park...
This morning mommy was very surprised to find me playing house... I was moving the Little People from one room to another and having them sit in chairs... I'm definitely daddy's child because I also had them sliding off the roof saying "Weee..."
I took my playtime VERY seriously!
We watched Horton Hears a Who while having brunch with Nana and Pop Pop...
I showed Nana my dollhouse...
and we took our traditional picture...
Here we are last June...
Thanks for coming to see me Nana and Pop Pop! It was a great visit!
After naptime we headed over to Nathan's house to go to their neighborhood waterpark...
I even brought my swimming baby...
Look how fun the splash area is...
Next we went down the slides... Nathan and his daddy went first...
Look at Nathan's big smile!
Then daddy and I went...
SO fun! We did that about 8 times throughout the day...
We took a snack break...
and then we went and splashed...
This is the first time I haven't been afraid of shooting water... YAY!
during our next snack break Nathan decided to share some goldfish with me...
He even fed me directly... so sweet!
The daddy's came back with Blue Bell! YUM!
"Is this whole thing for me?"
I'm in love...
Nice thing about getting dirty at the pool, easy clean up...
I was pretty proud of how messy I got...
but I decided I needed a few more bites...
I even licked my hands...
Isn't my bathing suit cute? Nana brought it to me... Thanks Nana!
Pouting because it was time to go home...
but my smile came back when Carrie said we can do this again sometime soon! YAY! We had so much fun today! Thanks again for inviting us.
